Project details
Architects: Daniel da Rocha and Nanci Fujita
Period: April-June, 2006
Location: Campinas, Brazil
This was my first professional project out of school in Brazil. Together with Nanci Fujita, a school colleague and friend, we designed this small, two-floor small house to shelter a couple and their two kids.
It is both a very functional and well executed project. All rooms are carefully placed to allow maximum flexibility and ease of use. Economic and spatial constraints allowed us to develop several interesting solutions, and put our background education to test.
After we delivered the construction documentation, the owner hired a contractor to build the project. Since then we lost contact, but it seems the house is finally about to be finished.
