About

After graduating from my master course at the Bauhaus-Dessau International Architecture (2008), I am now experiencing professional practice in architecture. Straight out of school, I worked for 10 months in a young architectural practice in Berlin, doing mainly competitions. It was a hard process, but I learned a lot. After this period, I spend 4 months working on a South Korean coorporate architecture company in Seoul. It was a great experience, both professional and personal. Now I am back in Berlin working full time on diverse projects throughout the world.

Since the beginning of 2008, I’ve been teaching two elective courses at my former master programme: Generative Scripting I and II. It is very rewarding to be able to transmit my knowledge to students and to see great results in return. The courses are currently in their third semester, and the experience has been extremely enriching for me both professional and personally.

One of my main interests lies on ways of exploring the computer as a tool in the design process, as a way to “expand your brain” and define new design possibilities. This is what I tried to explore as a student and now with my students. Questions such as performability and efficiency in all realms of architecture have for long been my main concern, and I see the computer as an invaluable tool to help our profession to reach new standards.
